Who We Are
We welcome you to our New Home called Ixchel. Where the magic of flavors, colors, design and warmth meet all under one roof. IXCHEL is the Mayan Goddess. She is always full of power influencing our Moon Cycles, directly linked to fertility, rainfall, harvest times and medicine.
Our inspiration definitely comes from the Tulum Beaches, Mayan ruins, the Cenotes (natural wells), vibrancy of colors, textures of fabrics and pottery plus all the beautiful natural stone found in Mexico

The Mayans had remarkable achievements in many fields such as astrology, engineering, agriculture and communications thousands of years ago. When it came down to their food, their diet was revolutionary. Mayan cuisine consisted of hearty, nutrient dense, flavorful food. Las 3 Hermanas well known as the the 3 sisters, were their top three main crops Corn, Beans and Squash. Their main source of protein came from animals but their core foods were significantly important in their diet as well as chocolate and coffee.
